Planning Permit applications do not guarantee the issue of a planning permit at the end of the process. Whilst engaging a town planning consultant maximises your chances at approval, there are a number of unforeseen circumstances which may occur and result in a refusal. This can include political influences within Council, large number of objections, push back from the community and difficult Council planning assessment Officers.

M & D Town Planning will advise of the level of risk associated with your application and the chances for approval. It is important to take this into consideration when commencing the process.

If the application is refused, your options include re-applying to Council or pursuing the matter at VCAT.
